A man discovered shot in the arm in Antioch on Thursday was in stable condition at a hospital police explained According to an Antioch Police Department news release the victim is a -year-old man whom officers did not identify Police noted they responded to a released shooting about p m Thursday in the block of Crater Peak Way and revealed the man who d been shot at least once in the arm Police revealed they were canvassing the area and had not identified a suspect Based on the initial review it appears to be an isolated episode the news release disclosed However the shooting comes on the heels of another in Antioch this week that left a woman in critical condition That shooting happened at about p m on Tuesday in the block of Delta Fair Boulevard Responding officers detected a -year-old woman with at least one gunshot wound and she was taken by ambulance to a hospital Police published meager details but explained the case is likely isolated as well
